Bulletproof coffee is regular coffee in which the creamer is substituted with a blend of butter and coconut or MCT oil. Research indicates that it increases your daily intake and absorption of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, K and K2, as well as the fatty acids linoleic acid (CLA) and medium chain triglycerides (MCTs). The main benefits of starting your day with this fortified coffee are:

How to make bulletproof coffee
Using regular, good-quality coffee, make your cup as normal. Then add a tablespoon each of butter and coconut/MCT oil. Whizz it up in a blender or use a handheld milk frother to emulsify it all. You’ll have a super creamy, rich coffee as a result. If you must sweeten, add a teaspoon or two of xylitol.
