Pick colours to match and make this stunning bathroom mat.
- 2 x 500g tarn in colour of your choice, we used two colours (colour A and B)
- 12mm Ns (We used short Ns on a 128cm wire; this way the weight of the mat rested on the wires and not the Ns)

To make the bathroom mat
Using 12mm Ns, and colour A, c/on 30 sts. We used the thumb method cast on for a neat edge. Work 5 – 6cm in ms (approx. 6 rows).
1st row: Cont in ms for the first 3 sts, k to last three sts, cont in ms to end.
2nd row: Cont in ms for first 3 sts, p to last three sts, cont in ms to end. This keeps the ms border around the edge and prevents the piece from curling.
Cont with 1st and 2nd row in colour A until work measures 19cm from c/on edge. Join colour B and cont until work
measures 57cm from c/on edge. Join colour A and cont with 1st and 2nd row until work measures 70cm from c/on edge. Work 6 rows in ms to finish border. C/off. Sew in all loose threads.
