Keep a gadget tray and storage caddy in your entryway to keep things neat and tidy.
- 500g T-shirt yarn
- 12mm crochet hook
ch – chain; dc – double crochet; sl st – slip stitch; rep – repeat; st/s – stitch/es
FOR THE TRAY
Using T-shirt yarn, make a slip knot.
Using 12mm hook, ch11.
Dc into second chain from hook.
Dc in each st to the end of the row. Ch1.
Turn work and dc into each st.
Rep for 6 more rows.
Ch1, and then dc into each st or loop, around all four sides.
Sl st to starting ch1.
Instead of working dc into chain space, work into the V of each dc in the previous
row. Cont for 2 more rounds.
For the last round, after sl st to join last round, work a round of sl st to make a nice strong edge. Bind off.
FOR THE CADDY
Make a magic circle and work 6dc into ring. [6sts]
Round 1: ch1 (does not count as a st). 2dc into each st [12sts]. Sl st to close.
Round 2: ch1. *1dc into next st, 2dc into next st*, rep 5 times [18sts]. Sl st to close.
Round 3: ch1. Dc all around into back loops only. Sl st to close.
Rounds 4-8: ch1. Dc in waistcoat st to end. Sl st to close.
Round 5: sl st all around and bind off.
