Paper snowflakes

Paper snowflakes

paper snowflakes

Have fun making these paper snowflakes with the kids!

You’ll need

  • squares of paper in different sizes and colours
  • scissors
  • prestik
  • thread

To make

  1.  Fold the square diagonally, repeat. Fold into thirds and cut off the pointy ends so that you have an even edge.
  2. Shape your snowflake by cutting holes and patterns through all layers of the paper. The more shapes
you cut out, the more ‘fragile’ the snowflake will look.
  3. Open carefully and use thread to hang onto a mobile, or use prestik to stick on walls or windows.
