Working Tunisian simple stitch
Forward pass: pick up sts across (as many as indicated) from the vertical loops in the row below.
Return pass: yo and pull through one loop, *yo and pull through two loops*, repeat from * to * until one loop remains.
Make 46 ch.
Working in Tunisian simple stitch, pick up 45 loops from the back of each ch st. You should have 46 sts on your hook.
Continue in Tunisian simple stitch until your work measures 150cm.
Switch to 9mm crochet hook. With right side facing, work two rows of sc into each space around the border of the mat to neaten the edges. Fasten off and work in loose ends.
Note: You’ll notice when using this yarn and size 9mm needle that one row of Tunisian simple stitch will measure about 1cm.
