Have fun decorating these cute washi tape Easter eggs.
These washi tape Easter eggs make a stunning decoration for your Easter table. Working in shades of a single colour makes a beautiful impact to match your decor scheme at home. Find washi tape and polystyrene eggs at your local craft store.
You will need
- polystyrene eggs (from craft shops)
- washi tape
- modge podge
To make the washi tape Easter eggs
- Cut washi tape into strips and cover each egg piece by piece, trying not to overlap the tape.
- Press edges of tape down well, and make sure each egg is totally covered. Apply a coat of modge podge using a craft brush to seal and secure the tape. Allow to dry thoroughly.
- Sand lightly before applying a second coat of modge podge. Once dry, sand again until smooth. Apply more coats to the washi eggs if needed, sanding in between.
