Getting your pets to get along can be stressful. These tips on how to introduce pets to each other will make the transition more peaceful.
DOG + DOG
Keep the first meeting short and sweet. Never leave the dogs unsupervised. Watch for signs of aggression and intervene before anything happens. Offer both dogs plenty of praise and affection.
CAT + CAT
Introducing a new cat should be taken as a phased approach. Put cats in separate rooms but within earshot of each other. Supervise a meeting in the same room and progress slowly towards unsupervised visits.
CAT + DOG
