Our top picks from Kamers Irene 2015

Kamers Irene 2015 opened up it’s doors and is here till Sunday. This year’s marketplace is particularly full, and we picked our top items, stalls and inspirations from the hundreds for you.

Every year Gauteng waits with bated breath for the Kamers Irene Christmas market – and this year’s one is particularly good. With many more stalls than last year, great food, an entertainment area and more it’s certainly a market to bring your walking shoes to! This year they have a ‘cashless marketplace’ – you are only allowed to pay by card. The only con is that this is a bit clumsy and annoying for items like a R10 bottle of water, and if the machines were quick or an app was used this would make a lot more sense.

Overall though, the experience is great and here are our top picks from the Kamers.
