This Artichokes and Asparagus recipe is perfect as a delicious side-dish!

- 4 small artichokes
- 50ml olive oil
- 50g butter
- 500g asparagus, washed
- handful basil
- Slice the artichokes lengthways in thin slivers. Heat oil and butter on medium-high and quick-fry the artichokes until they are crisp. Set aside. Toss the asparagus in the same butter and oil mixture until lightly cooked. Season.
- Serve on a bed of basil.
