Who would have guessed that this pretty pink berry slushy would help you lose weight!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 banana
  • 45ml protein powder
  • 30ml fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 15ml apple cider vinegar
  • 15ml lemon juice
  • 250ml ice
  • sweetener of your choice, to taste (optional)

METHOD

  1. Blitz all the ingredients until it forms a slush. Serve immediately.

Health fact 

Apple cider vinegar helps with weight loss, stabilises blood sugar levels, reduces cravings, reduces body fat, and boosts energy. After the age of 30, you can lose 1% of muscle each year. In order to build that muscle back up, you need protein. Banana has a high level of potassium, which helps build strong muscles and has the ability to rid your body of toxins.
