Fight flu with this golden milk made from turmeric and honey.
- 5 mins
- 250ml warm milk
- 10ml honey
- 3ml turmeric
- slice ginger
- squeeze lemon juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- Heat all the ingredients to just below boiling point. Strain.
Turmeric is high in antioxidants as well as a natural anti-inflammatory. Honey helps soothe a sore throat and can reduce irritating coughs. Lemon helps build resistance to colds and flu, and speeds up healing.
