- Takes 10 mins
- Makes 750ml
- 5 green apples
- 4 celery stalks
- 100g baby spinach
- 2 handfuls mint
- 1 lime, peeled
- crushed ice, to serve
- Juice all the ingredients, transfer to a jug and serve over crushed ice.
- Celery is one of the richest sources of luteolin, a plant compound said to lower the rate of age-related memory loss. Luteolin calms inflammation in the brain that can prevent the start of degeneration.
- The nitrates found in spinach increase blood flow to the brain, improving mental performance.
