There's just something about homemade wraps...

  • Easy

  • 375ml bread flour
  • 5ml salt
  • 5ml baking powder
  • 50g butter, melted
  • 160ml warm water

  1. Combine the flour, salt and baking powder. Make a well in the middle and add the butter and water. Knead
for about 2 minutes until smooth. Cover and leave to stand for 10 minutes.
  2. Shape into 10 balls on a well-floured surface. Cover the balls with plastic wrap, to prevent them from drying out.
  3. Using a flour-dusted rolling pin, roll out each ball as thinly as possible into a 23cm circle. Shake off excess flour.
  4. Heat a frying pan on medium and dry-fry the wrap, frying for about 1 minute on each side or until brown spots appear and it’s cooked through. Repeat with the remaining dough balls.
