An easy-to-make, refreshing Lemongrass Lemonade drink - perfect for summer picnics!

- Makes 2L
- 2L water
- 330ml castor sugar
- 3 lemongrass sticks, crushed
- 310ml lemon juice
- handful mint
- Heat the water and sugar over high heat, stirring until dissolved. Add the lemongrass and bring to boil.
- Remove from the heat and add the lemon juice. Cool completely. Pour into bottles and mix in the mint.
- Cool in the fridge.
If you’re planning a long road trip, freeze the lemonade for an ice-cold slushy drink. This will help keep the rest of your food cool in the picnic basket. Just don’t fill the jars all the way to the top!
