Try the trendy green tea powder as dessert in our matcha mousse – the health benefits are endless.
- 10 mins + setting
- 5ml granulated gelatine
- 250ml cream
- 80ml honey
- 15ml matcha powder + extra
- Combine the gelatine and 15ml cream and set aside to bloom for 5 minutes.
- Beat the remaining cream until soft peaks form. Fold in the honey and matcha.
- Melt the gelatine in the microwave for about 20 seconds or until just melted. Do not boil. Beat into the
matcha cream mixture. Spoon into 4 serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or until set. Dust
with extra matcha, if you like.
Matcha is the finely ground powder from a special type of green tea leaves and has 10 times the nutritional value of regularly brewed green tea. It’s high in antioxidants, increases energy levels, stimulates metabolism and detoxifies.
