The Summer Sangria is a refreshing perfect for the summer weather.

- 100g sugar
- 125ml water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 x 750ml bottle fruity white wine
- 500ml soda water
- 375ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 60ml lemon juice
- handful mint leaves
- 1 orange, sliced
- lots of ice
- Combine the sugar, water and cinnamon in a saucepan on medium. Cook, stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Simmer for 2 minutes or until the syrup thickens. Pour into a container and place in the fridge to chill.
- Combine the syrup, wine, soda water, orange juice, lemon juice, mint leaves and orange slices in a large jug filled with ice.
